Seagate Naples Florida Photo Shoot, Saturday, August 10, 2024
Address: 100 Seagate Drive Smith Preserve Way
Naples, Florida 34103
Our next gathering is specifically made for those folks who think a sunrise shoot is way too early.
We will meet at the Sea Gate area at 7:15 PM on Saturday August 10. Sunset is at 8:08. Seagate Park is located at 100 Seagate Dr, Naples Florida 34103. Parking is via a metered parking permit issued on site. It is about 5.8 miles north of the old Naples pilings.
Dave hasn’t been there since Hurricane Ian , but there used to be a rock jetty that makes a nice foreground and he is hoping it's still there.
This is a perfect spot to try long exposure photography to smooth out the waves. These techniques require a tripod and neutral density filters.
Sunsets during this time of the year can produce spectacular results when the clouds and humidity combine to form the perfect image. Sunsets are also a good spot for HDR photography.
The same event will give portrait photographers a chance to practice exposing to the bright sunset and using a fill flash to illuminate a model.
Let Dave know if you plan on coming so I have a rough idea of who is going to show up. Email him at dmcfarrlane22199@gmail.com
If you have never been to a photoshoot outing, you will find it the perfect way to meet fellow photographers and ask questions. You will find the camaraderie fun and a friendly safe social outing.
